I Don't Mind The Weather...

...I've got scarves and caps and sweaters, I've got longjohns under slacks for blustery days. so Monday I spent Memorial Day the way it was intended...Standing in the rain for 7 hours, but much like the song Blacking out of Friction, quoted above, I didn't mind the weather because I was waiting for Death Cab! What a great show they never disappoint The only downer was that Rogue Wave got bumped but on the sunny side tegan and sara sounded great and put on a great show and I finally met Chris,Guitarist/Producer, for Death Cab he was the last of the band members that I needed to meet and it's official Chris Walla is the nicest man on the Planet I met him before the show and when I saw him after he not only remembered me but remembered my name! Oh and me and Nick decided we were Beard Brothers!

Memorial Weekend

What a Great start to an exciting weekend for me! Go Celtics! so not only did the boys in green win game 3 to regain home court but monday is my favorite day of the year thats right ITS DEATH CAB DAY! The most wonderful time of the year!

I'm McLovin Juno

I do believe I've just seen the best movie of the year, granted I still have several big movies to see, Sweeney Todd No country for old men, but I strongly doubt that either will be as smartly written or have snappier dialogue than the masterpiece i have just seen, its the kind of movie that reminds you what funny is! When I saw a couple big hit comedies earlier this year, Knocked up and Superbad, I laughed as hard as anyone I thought they were great but those movies pale in comparison to the nearly perfect Juno! The entire movie is filled with bigger laughs than the funniest parts of those movies, without going as far. Juno felt like it was what they(Knoched up and Superbad) were trying to be! Kudos to the writer Diablo Cody and actors Michael Cera,who is always Great and an Oscar worthy performance by Ellen Page! Do yourself a favor and go see this movie! oh and take me with you!
